Could you imagine this view!? This image from 1972 was taken by astronaut Gene Cernan as he and Harrison Schmitt roamed the valley floor. The image shows Schmitt on the left with the lunar rover at the edge of Shorty Crater, near the spot where they discovered orange lunar soil. Sadly they were the last men to walk on the moon.
